Irreconcilable Differences

I've been married to my knight in shining armour for almost eight years now, and we have three beautiful daughters. Sounds like a fantasy, right? Well, we're working on it. My two older girls, my stepdaughters, are eleven and ten, and my daughter is 3. I am a very blessed mom, and stepmom, or "bonus" mom, but let's face it, this stepmom stuff is HARD! I created this blog basically as a journal for myself, somewhere to throw my spread out thoughts together, kind of as a form of healing and letting go of control. Cuz if you're a stepmom reading this, you know how little control we have in our role. But this is teaching me, reminding me, that God is sovereign, that He is in control, of every little detail. If He knows every hair on our head, He must know every cry of our heart. After all, He created us, in His image. On purpose, for a purpose. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
